The Eurofleets+ Marine Internship Program offers seagoing placements for students and technicians of marine related sciences and technologies on the Eurofleets+ partner research vessels, utilising spare berths.
The programme will provide a great opportunity to gain offshore experience, develop new skills and learn on the job with established research scientists and research leaders.
Placements can take place on dedicated research surveys being undertaken by vessels or during funded research cruises. The internships are intended primarily for marine oriented graduates, postgraduate students (PhD or MSc), early stage researchers and technicians.
Interns will not conduct their own research but will have the possibility to learn how an international cruise works and about operations onboard Eurofleets+ TA research surveys.
Only ship-time is funded through Eurofleets. All other expenses, including travel and accommodation, will be paid for by the participants.
